About Me
I am currently a volunteering postdoctoral researcher at the
e-Media Research Lab
at KU Leuven. I hold a Ph.D. in Engineering Technology from the
Department of Electrical Engineering (ESAT),
KU Leuven, where I worked under the supervision of
Prof. Dr. Bart Vanrumste.
As part of the
FOG-IT project,
I developed deep learning methods to detect and assess freezing of gait in Parkinson’s disease using wearable sensors.
My research focuses on artificial intelligence for healthcare applications, with broader interests in human behavior analysis,
including multimodal motion understanding, sensor-based activity modeling, and human–technology interaction.
